What is Voxcene?
A video editor for iPhone that takes a clip from your camera roll to a captioned, graded, cleaned-up file ready to post — without moving to a second app.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone. There is no iPad or Android build today.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes for transcription, translation and the AI tools, which run on our servers. Editing a project you have already transcribed works without one.
Is it finished?
No, and the site says so where it matters. Anything marked In development is not in the app yet.
Editing
Can I use more than one clip?
Yes. The timeline takes as many clips as the story needs, each with its own trim, speed and colour, plus separate lanes for music and sound.
What does the AI actually decide?
It proposes: where the silences are, which words are hesitations, where a punch-in might land. Nothing is applied without you seeing the list first, and every decision stays a control you can change.
Does the preview match the export?
That is the intent, and it is tested — captions, colour, cuts and speed are rendered from the same values in both. Where the two have ever diverged it has been treated as a bug.
What resolution can I export?
Up to 4K. The exact ceiling depends on your plan.
Captions and languages
Which languages can it transcribe?
Around sixty, including Greek, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Arabic and Chinese. The full list is in the app when you start a project.
Can I speak one language and subtitle in another?
Yes. The spoken language and the subtitle language are chosen separately — speak Chinese and subtitle in Greek if that is what the video needs.
How many caption styles are there?
106, each with its own font, weight, casing, highlight behaviour and colours, all of which you can override.
Is Greek properly supported?
Yes, and it is the reason several things work the way they do. The fonts are chosen for real Greek coverage, an uploaded font is refused if it cannot set the language, and filler removal knows the difference between a hesitation and an elided word.
Privacy
What happens to my video?
It is uploaded so it can be transcribed and exported, and it is deleted on the schedule set out in the Privacy Policy.
Do you train models on my footage?
No. Your media is processed to produce your result and is not used to train models.
Who else sees it?
The processors listed in the Privacy Policy, each for one specific job — transcription, storage, hosting. Nobody else.
Billing
How do I pay?
Through your Apple ID. Apple handles the payment, the receipt and the renewal; we never see your card.
How do I cancel?
In iOS Settings under your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you paid for ends.
How do refunds work?
Apple issues refunds for App Store purchases, not us. Request one through Apple's Report a Problem page.
What happens to my projects if I stop paying?
They stay in your account. Features above the free tier stop until you subscribe again.
Support
Something is broken. Where do I report it?
Email support@voxcene.com with what you did and what happened. If it involves a specific project, say which one.
Can I ask for a feature?
Yes, to the same address. Several things in the app exist because someone asked for them.
